Terms and Conditions

BOOKING: A Firm booking will be deemed to made when a completed booking form is received, completed in full and signed along with the minimum deposit

CONFIRMATION: Intuition H2O will confirm the booking in writing after receiving the booking form.

DEPOSIT AND FEES: A £50 deposit is required to make a firm booking. The outstanding balance is payable within 30 days of the course starting.
If the course fee is not paid in full by this time, we reserve the right to cancel the booking. Any deposit paid will be forfeit.

DELAY/NON ARRIVAL/CANCELLATION:
a) If you are likely to be delayed beyond the start of your course, please inform us as early as possible.

b) A student who cannot attend their course through illness or commitments elsewhere is requested to contact the school as soon as possible. If the student  cancels  the course 30 days before the start then  the deposit paid will be lost.
If it is necessary to cancel the course within 30 days of the course starting the student will loose the entire course fee. However the school will do it’s best to resell the place on the course. If this is successful,only the deposit paid will be lost. Travel and cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.

c) Any Student who fails to arrive, for any reason whatsoever including illness and has not notified the school will automatically lose all monies paid and no liability by doing so shall attach to the school whatsoever.

DISCLAIMER: No liability is accepted for any Student’s vehicles parked in the Marina’s grounds, or Student’s Possessions in the vehicle, on the pontoons or in the school’s vessels.

a) No liability is accepted for Students whilst on school grounds, in any of the school properties, on ladders, pontoons or vessels and all Students participate in any aspect of any course at their own risk.

SCHOOL CANCELLATION: If, for any reason, the School is unable to fulfil a booking or a vessel becomes unseaworthy for any reason whatsoever, the School will inform the Student immediately the knowledge is available. No liability shall attach itself to the School beyond the refund of the full fee paid by the student(s) or unused portions thereof.

CERTIFICATES: The standards of instruction are high and
certificates will only be issued at the end of a section of the course if, in the opinion of the Centre Instructors and Principal, the Student has reached the necessary standard.

COSTS: The course price includes the following (where appropriate) – Tuition, Oilskins, Lifejackets, Fuel, Navigation Packs, Certificates and a light lunch.

The school does not provide accommodation or evening meals.

PRE-REQUISITES: It is the responsibility of the student to ensure all pre-requisites for the course are in place. The school reserves the right to remove the student from the course, if in the school’s opinion it would benefit the remaining students on the course.

In this instance, the student may be offered a refund minus the deposit and any unused portion of the course.

Alternatively, the school will where available offer the student a place on the correct course or allow a reasonable amount of time for the pre-requisites to be gained. In this case only the deposit paid will be forfeit.
